Volunteering and Charitable Participation
The OIG has participated in a number of volunteer efforts. These include the following --

Partnering with Socks for Souls, Inc. to donate over 200 packaged socks to the homeless. (Oct/Nov 2018)
-
Dolores Mission - Prepared and served meals to approximately 70 community members in conjunction with monthly service opportunity.

Feed Your Community -- served free Thanksgiving meals to 561 members of the community, along with other volunteers from law enforcement agencies. (November 2018)
-
Lighthouse, a Place of Refuge - collected gift cards and over 100 toys for youth for the holiday season. (December 2018)

Downtown Women's Center - sorted approximately half a room of clothing and other miscellaneous donations received at the DWC, serving women in the Skid Row community. (January 2019)
